The RLW compression load cell from RDP Electronics Ltd is ideally suited to industrial weighing applications where high accuracy at a competitive price is called for.
Industrial weighing can take many forms, but one typical example for the RLW load cell is hopper weighing. Sealed parallel beam load cells mounted at three points and connected in parallel compensate for distributed load effects and provide a resultant signal used as a measurement of the hopper load. Not only is the RLW easy to attach but it also offers good long term and temperature stability.
