The oil-free range now includes the JUN-AIR OF1200 – a higher-output version of the best selling OF300. With an output of 130 l/min at 8 bar the OF1200 offers a useful 45% increase over the OF300, greatly extending the potential applications for the range. The 50/60Hz dual frequency also provides greater flexibility for exporting OEMs, as the OF1200 can operate anywhere in the world without the need for modification. Versions are also available to operate at 10 bar maximum pressure.

With decibel ratings as low as 47-55 dB(A) when housed in an attractive soundproof cabinet, models in the oil-less range have the lowest noise levels available, making them ideal for providing a supply of independent air for modern processing and packaging machinery and for installation in hygienic food manufacturing environments – from beer and soft drinks to food packaging. In a recent application for example, JUN-AIR compressors were specified for automated meat weighing/packing in supermarkets.

To ensure the highest air quality throughout the lifetime of the oil-less compressor range, receivers are internally powder-coated to avoid corrosion. Adsorption dryers remove moisture to ensure 100% dry, clean oil free compressed air, with pressure dewpoints of -40 and -70 deg C.

The dryer is located upstream of the receiver so the receiver only stores dry air. Units feature a unique cooling system and wear-resisting piston rings, and are designed for 100% continuous operation up to 10 bar maximum pressure. Higher pressure units are available.

The Gast Group supplies leading equipment manufacturers worldwide with both standard and custom designed units. The range also includes vacuum pumps and the OF300 series, which is supplied as a combined air compressor/vacuum pump. DC versions are available for remote sampling.
