ADRIAN LEE OPENS ABSOLUTE AIR & GAS

Adrian Lee has left his position as UK and Europe managing director of air handling specialist Gast Group Limited (formerly JUN-AIR and Gast Manufacturing) to start his own company – Absolute Air & Gas Limited – specialising in compressed air and gas systems.

Adrian has more than thirty years experience in the industry, having established JUN-AIR in the UK in 1995 and developed the company to become one of the UK’s leading compressor suppliers and the brand of choice for customers in dental, laboratory, industrial and automotive markets. Following JUN-AIR’s acquisition by Gast Manufacturing (an Idex Corporation business) in 2007, Adrian became managing director for the European business of both Gast & JUN-AIR brands.

Commenting on the formation of Absolute Air & Gas and the challenges and opportunities he and his team faces, Adrian Lee says: “A key part of establishing the new business was finding the right products for the markets we intend to serve. While managing a European business I have been fortunate to meet many innovative companies, developing new and exciting products. These are the products Absolute Air & Gas is offering. They have the potential to set new standards in performance, quality and reliability, and we intend to match them with our standards of customer service.”

Absolute Air & Gas has already signed several exclusive UK and Ireland partnering agreements for a number of European air handling and compressor manufacturers and Adrian believes that the combination of products and the level of expertise and application knowledge he and his team will bring to the market, will ensure that customers get objective and unbiased advice and a wide range of products to suit their applications.

The partnering agreements already in place include:

EKOM – A global supplier of air and vacuum systems including a range of medical compressors
HIBLOW – Leading global manufacturer of linear pump technology for environmental, medical and OEM applications
CINEL – Manufacturers of advanced technology for the laboratory gas market, including Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Oxygen and zero-air generators
Developed in partnership with a leading European manufacturer, Absolute Air & Gas will also be selling its own Absolute range of silent, oil-lubricated compressors.
