Praise for Leakage Conference
IVL Flow Control, the Leakage and Pressure Management specialists, has praised Water UK’s Leakage Conference as a breakthrough in expediting relationships between water companies and genuinely innovative businesses in the supply chain.
The Conference, in its 15th year, addressed the fact that companies have been able to rethink their approach to leakage management and for the first time set their own leakage targets.
Craig Stanners, Director at IVL Flow Control, commented: “Water UK says is brings people together to facilitate the development of sustainable water policy – and this Conference in Birmingham was a shining example of just that. We were given an opportunity to talk directly to the right people about the network capabilities that we offer”.
Chaired by Peter Farrer, Chief Operating Officer at Scottish Water, the Leakage Conference highlighted the fact that leakage management continues to be at the forefront of the way the industry is perceived by its customers and regulators.
Stanners added: “We see autonomous control valves as the way forward to calm networks. It was therefore very positive to be part of a conference where subjects such as critical nodes and long-term valve solutions were met with interest and enthusiasm from an audience keen to embrace new methods and learn more”.
