Eltime Controls now offer a range of Earth Leakage Relays and Core Balance Current Transformers. The RN series of earth leakage relays monitor the leakage of current to earth for any electrical system such as control panels, switchboards, generators, transformers or motors.
The earth leakage relay is used in conjunction with a WN core balance transformer for current sensing which are available in five different sizes, ranging from 35mm to 210mm in internal diameter, to cover all sizes of installations.
The relays are available with either a fixed 30mA or 300mA instantaneous trip point or with a user adjustable trip point (up to 5 Amps) and time delay (up to 5 seconds) both adjustable through rotary switches on the front of the relay.
All relays have reset and test functions and two LEDs to indicate both power and trip status. The relays are supplied in a compact DIN rail mounting enclosure with finger proof terminals and the adjustable relay has a clear front cover enabling a tamper-proof seal to be fitted if required.
Models are available powered from either a 110Vac or 230Vac auxiliary supply.
