REMBE® has further developed the technology and manufacturing processes of bursting discs. Moving on from their long-standing KUB® bursting discs developmental phase, they now specialize in Laser-Sublimation and IP-Technology. Both of these processes build the foundation for the advanced development of the IKB, a far superior solution to mechanically scored discs.
Through the patented IP-process, kinetic energy is stored in the IKB bursting disc. As soon as the burst pressure is achieved, IKB transforms this energy and instantaneously gives full bore opening as the energy is released. This has allowed REMBE® to successfully provide a bursting disc that obsoletes any pre-weakening scores or space-consuming downstream knives. In turn this provides the end user with 100% plant security and 24/7 availability.
The IKB can also be deployed in Sterile applications within the Food and Biotechnology industries; in pressurised facilities in the Pharmaceutical industry; in all Process equipment found in the Chemical and Petrochemical industry and as overpressure protection for machines and special plant engineering and construction applications.
