Introducing the Panasonic FP Web Server and KW9M advanced power meter, now both with added functionality
Now you can run the Panasonic FPWEB2 web server with FPWEBEXP expansion unit without the need for a PLC to log data onto SD card from external Modbus RTU compatible equipment, as well as the Panasonic range of automation products, including our Eco Power meters.
Using our FP Web Designer software to create a web page that is then loaded onto FPWEB2, you can also visualise data via internet on a computer or mobile device.
Alternatively you can use our free software, KW Watcher, to view historical data records captured by your devices.
With a connected Panasonic PLC you can also remotely control a system or outstation via the Web.
Security can be provided by OpenVPN, with IPSec encryption to be added as an option soon.
One common application for our FPWEB2 is monitoring energy usage when used in conjunction with our Eco Power meters. Now we have a new addition to our range, the KW9M advanced type.
Features include:
·      With a large display, all individual circuits or phases can be viewed at the same time
·      1mA current resolution, useful to monitor standby power usage
·      Standard panel mount size 96 x 96 DIN
·      Bidirectional measurement, both incoming energy and outgoing generated power.
·      Now equipped with input and output terminals, so alarm outputs can be configured.
·      Harmonic measurement
·      Unbalanced phase measurement
·      N-phase measurement and electric leakage detection
·      IEC 61577-12 compliant demand measuring function
