Hansford Sensors Premium HS-170 offers enhanced monitoring efficiency
Hansford Sensors has launched the Premium HS-170 accelerometer family, a new sensor with an improved frequency response and enhanced efficiency to vibration monitoring. The product marks the launch of a new premium range, offering yet further quality and reliability from Hansford Sensors, which will now be available in both standard and premium ranges.
The Hansford Sensors Premium HS-170 accelerometer is designed to be used with portable data collection systems, enabling accurate and repeatable readings to be taken from fixed or temporarily mounted sensors around a factory or plant.
A key benefit offered by the sensor is that it will bring increased efficiency to vibration monitoring as it has a higher frequency response rate in addition to faster settling times. With improved frequency response, especially at low frequencies, the Premium HS-170 responds faster when the data collector is plugged in. If an engineer has to take readings from multiple sensors around a plant, waiting for sensors with a lower frequency response rate to respond can add up to a lot of waiting time. The Premium HS-170 reduces the time needed to take a route.
The Premium HS-170 is part of the new Hansford Sensors premium product family including top entry and side entry accelerometers with dual output temperature, plus integral cables and connectors. The range supports Hansford Sensors’ complete range of existing industrial accelerometers. These include standard sensors, for use with all rotating and reciprocating equipment, plus submersible and ATEX-approved sensors for specialised applications, multi-sensor switch boxes, vibration sensor modules, portable vibration meters and condition monitoring protection systems.
