Now available from Verder, a new chemical dosing solution that can be deployed rapidly and is ready to run
The system is aimed primarily at the dosing of lime chemical in to waste water fluids for pH correction, however the system is also available for different probe-types and any application where dosing of a fluid is required. The product can dose from less than 1L to 500L p/h, making it ideal for emergency, temporary, small-scale or trial applications. The product itself is a two-part system comprising a lightweight dosing rig and a dynamic mixer unit.
The dosing rig
The dosing rig is assembled to a PE UV-resistant frame with a Verderflex Dura peristaltic pump to deliver the fluid. The peristaltic pump can dose with great accuracy and is extremely resistant to abrasion. The Dura range is featured in many of Verder”s full kiosk packaged systems, provided to several of the UK”s leading water companies. The pump is controlled by a probe, control unit and inverter to adjust the rate of dosing.
The frame is designed to be both free-standing, with sturdy base and feet as well as being hook-mountable on to any standard IBC. Weighing in at under 50kg, the dosing rig is extremely portable and is suitable for a 2 man lift.
The mixing unit
To maintain the suspension and homogeneous state of the chemical, the mixer unit creates a turbulent flow cycle within the IBC. The mixer is part of a larger mounting bracket which can fit over the IBC. The blades are collapsible so the unit slots straight onto the top. The IBC and mixer can then be easily transported around the site so it can be an excellent reserve system in the event of a breakdown of the existing system.
The unit simply requires connection to a power source and the basic setting of the probe control panel.
