AkzoNobel Powder Coatings to showcase Interpon and Resicoat innovations

Powder coating solutions for electric vehicles, manufacturing and architectural facades to be featured at four major North American trade shows

AkzoNobel Powder Coatings will showcase its latest powder coating solutions for manufacturing, architecture and design at four major North American trade shows this autumn.

Across The Battery Show North America, ZAK World of Facades New York, FABTECH USA and Facades+, the company will demonstrate how its Interpon and Resicoat powder coating brands are helping manufacturers, architects and designers address coating requirements across a wide range of applications.

The exhibition programme will highlight solutions designed to combine technical performance, durability and design flexibility. Applications on display will range from coatings for electric vehicle battery cooling systems through to architectural powder coatings designed to provide durable finishes for building facades.

The four events will also provide visitors with an opportunity to meet AkzoNobel Powder Coatings experts and explore developments in powder coating technology, colour selection, corrosion protection, functional coatings and architectural finishes.

Resicoat powder coatings for electric vehicle battery systems

The programme begins with The Battery Show North America, taking place from October 12-15 in Detroit, Michigan. Visitors can find the Resicoat team at Booth #4338.

Resicoat will present Resicoat EVcooling, an electrically insulating powder coating developed specifically for electric vehicle battery cooling plates.

As electric vehicle manufacturers continue to develop battery systems with increasing demands for safety, reliability and thermal management, cooling technology plays an important role in battery design. Resicoat EVcooling is designed to combine electrical insulation with thermal management to help improve battery safety, reliability and performance.

The coating is also intended to support scalable manufacturing for next generation EV battery systems.

By combining functional performance with powder coating technology, the solution addresses the specific requirements of battery cooling plate applications where electrical insulation and thermal management need to be considered together.

Interpon and Resicoat at FABTECH USA

From October 21-23, AkzoNobel Powder Coatings will showcase both the Interpon and Resicoat brands at FABTECH USA in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Visitors can meet the AkzoNobel team at Booth #S15026 in the South Hall, where the company will present powder coating solutions for manufacturing and functional applications.

The Interpon stand will feature its Ready-to-Ship (RTS) collection, a selected range of popular powder coating colours designed for fast delivery.

The RTS collection is intended to make it easier for customers to access commonly requested powder coating colours without the potentially longer lead times associated with more specialised products.

Visitors will also be able to explore a digital colour selection tool designed to help customers quickly browse the collection and identify a suitable colour and finish for their application.

For manufacturers, colour selection can form an important part of the coating specification process, particularly where products need to combine surface protection with a consistent visual appearance.

Functional powder coatings from Resicoat

Resicoat experts will also be present at the FABTECH event to discuss high-performance powder coating solutions for functional applications across a broad range of industries.
