Andy Hammond has been involved in process instrumentation for ~40 years and his career has spanned from flow measurement solutions on the major North Sea Developments of the 1990’s, fiscal systems in Scottish Whisky distilleries, through to vital permanent clamp-on Oxygen metering at more than 250 hospitals since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2012 Andy established the UK subsidiary office of FLEXIM GmbH, a privately owned German specialist manufacturer of non-invasive clamp-on flow metering. UK Utility suppliers such as Water, Wastewater and Gas Distribution networks have been key customer for clamp-on metering solutions since ~2016.
