Eur Ing Keith Plumb CEng, FIChemE Keith Plumb is a process, safety and equipment consultant with more than 45 years’ experience as a practising engineer. Most of his experience has been in pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, food and fine chemicals. I use my detailed understanding of processes to improve process safety and to design and specify process equipment. He has been involved with all stages of the manufacturing process from raw material preparation through chemical synthesis and fermentation to purification, physical manipulation, formulation, filling and packaging. He has been a visiting lecturer at the Universities of Chester and Nottingham and an IChemE volunteer for virtually all of his career.
