Chief among these benefits is the self-adjusting PPS Clever Cushioning. This enables optimal adaptation to changes in both load and speed of operation. It saves time, increases flexibility and increases processing reliability. Its many variants and individual design features ensure peak performance in all applications.
Over 90% of parts used in the old DNC and DNCB cylinder ranges are used in the new DSBC range. There is a uniform range of accessories for all cylinders to ISO 15552, which reduces parts complexity, leading to better worldwide availability with shorter delivery times.
Having retained all the best aspects from previous cylinder ranges, Festo has added important new features for the DSBC range. These include weight-optimised end caps and barrel, a modular system of seals and wiper seals and high energy-absorption pistons.
