Facility will serve customers with improved delivery, service and support for Rosemount DP Level transmitters and diaphragm seals
Emerson announced today the opening of a Rosemount® DP Level transmitter and diaphragm seal solution centre in Wessling, Germany. The centre will provide customers in Europe with engineering, manufacturing and technical support, leveraging the existing Rosemount pressure transmitter manufacturing facility. The centre’s breadth of DP level manufacturing capabilities is extensive: from seal manufacture through to filling, using the latest laser height-check technology and fill fluid preparation techniques.

DP level technology is the most common level measurement technology in process automation today. Emerson’s Rosemount DP Level solutions include recent innovations such as Tuned-Systems™, delivering enhanced performance and time response along with the industry’s first and only performance certification for the entire seal system. Other innovations are industry-leading vacuum and high temperature performance. Diaphragm seals are also used with pressure transmitters to ease installation, eliminate corrosion, measure high temperature and for use in sanitary applications.
