GOLCONDA is introducing the novel APM 3DLevelScanner, which is set to revolutionise the measuring of level, volume and mass of materials inside a silo or even open bins.

Unlike some other non-contact level monitors the 3D LevelScanner does not rely on a single measuring point but maps the entire top surface of the material. It is unaffected by irregular piling angles, dust and noise.

Using a 2-dimensional array beam-former to transmit low frequency pulses and receive echoes of the pulses, the device”s patented Digital Signal Processor samples and analyzes the received signals. The processor then generates a 3D image of the material surface and using the known dimensions of the silo or bin, calculates volume of the contents with unrivalled precision.

The APM 3D LinkPro provides state-of-the-art wireless communications with all APM products using GSM technology to permit system configuration, remote analysis and diagnostics as well as software upgrades
