Grundfos Demand More competition winner

Listen to this article

The delighted winner of the Grundfos Pumps Demand More competition recently collected his brand new VW Caddy Trendline BlueMotion van from Grundfos Pumps Ltd. Managing Director Peter Reynolds.

This followed on from a Grundfos Demand More competition that rewarded heating engineers with a scratch-card for every Grundfos ALPHA2/ALPHA2L pump they bought.  The card gave them a 1 in 7 chance of winning a range of prizes from Grundfos merchandise, to Love2Shop vouchers and iPod Touches.  All participants could enter their code along with their details for a chance of winning the ‘big’ prize of the van.

The lucky winner Ken Mussell, from Surrey collected his van from Leighton Buzzard and was treated to lunch and a tour of Grundfos’ HQ training facilities.  It was actually his wife Kate who took the call to advise that he had won and both were in a state of shock.  However, it didn’t take long for them to get it touch with their children and grandchildren to share the news of their good fortune.

Having spent a lifetime working in the industry, Ken is still very active and has lots of interests including being an active member and former Chairman of his local Surrey branch of CIPHE. As a registered Gas Safe engineer Ken has yet to find time to retire!  But when he does his longstanding association with the local scouts group and his family will keep him even busier than he is now.

The new van replaces his ageing Sprinter and will give him the opportunity to have a clear out.  Hopefully he will continue to find room in it for a Grundfos circulator such as an ALPHA2(L) or new UPS2.  We are sure he will continue to use City Plumbing Supplies in Godalming, as they have brought him such good luck.
