
Hydro Seals Strategic Business Partnership for Eastern Europe
Hydro International has sealed a strategic business partnership with the leading Russian water engineering company Ecoline Ltd to supply its innovative stormwater management and treatment products in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Already Hydro has shipped the first €200,000 order to pilot its Stormcell® cellular block stormwater storage system on the high-profile Zhigulevskaya Valley high-technology business park in the Russian city of Togliatti, which showcases innovative new technologies. It is the first installation of Hydro’s no-power, low maintenance Stormcell® storage system, in Eastern Europe.

Established in 1998, Ecoline Ltd is one of Russia’s leading companies for the design and delivery of water and wastewater solutions. Ecoline has been appointed distributor for all Hydro’s Stormwater products including the Hydro-Brake Optimum®, Stormcell® stormwater storage and Downstream Defender® advanced hydrodynamic separator.

Some 1,200 cubic metres of Hydro Stormcell®have been supplied to provide at-source stormwater attenuation and infiltration for the model science and technology park. The park project is funded with a 4 billion Rouble investment from the Russian Government as part of investment plans to develop the urban district of Togliatti over the next 10 years and develop international business links.
