New Mobile Calibration Service Hits The Road

Following the successful launch of its Newlec mobile calibration service last year, Newey & Eyre is now geared up to take it to the masses with its very own nationwide roadshow.

Kicking off on April 18th at the leading wholesaler’s Warrington branch, the national calibration tour, the first of its kind, will visit a total of 18 branches across the country.

Designed to take the hassle out of calibration, the roadshow has been designed to showcase the unique Newlec mobile calibration lab; a fully branded van kitted out with all the latest calibration hardware and software in the industry, enabling testing and certification to be obtained on location. In addition, a team of calibration engineers will be on hand throughout to offer advice, support and answer questions.

Gavin Tallentire, product manager for electrical test and calibration at Newey & Eyre said: “We know that the process of calibrating electrical equipment can be time-consuming for the already incredibly busy contractor; however it’s vital in terms of ensuring legal compliance and optimising safety. As such, we specifically designed our calibration service to make it as simple as possible, helping to cut downtime and, in turn, cost for our customer. It’s quite simple: if you can’t come to us, we’ll come to you.”

The fully-accredited calibration service covers the majority of electrical testing equipment, including Multimeters, Clamp Meters and 17the Edition test equipment, ensuring all appliances are working within the manufactured tolerances. In addition to the mobile lab which will come to a customer’s site, the standard calibration service enables instrument collection within just 24 hours and guaranteed service availability across the wholesaler’s national network.

Gavin adds: “Since launching, our unique Newlec mobile calibration lab and calibration service has proven a resounding success. However, we wanted to take it one step further with a nationwide roadshow designed to take it to the masses and show even more customers how easy the service is, as well as promoting the competitive prices and the speed of the service. We look forward to welcoming as many customers as possible.”
The roadshow will stop at 18 branches during the months of April, May and June, including Birmingham, Cardiff, Blackburn, Slough, Leicester and Park Royal.
