New Investment at LCM Systems Sees the Installation of New Curing Ovens and Increased Production of High Capacity Load Cells

Listen to this article

Continuing its planned expansion to provide customers with a greater range of load measurement products and ex-stock load cells, load cell manufacturer LCM Systems has just taken delivery of new curing ovens that will result in increased production of higher capacity load cells.

Over the past 2 years, LCM Systems has expanded its manufacturing, production and storage facilities by over 70%, and this latest installation further shows its commitment to providing customers with the best quality standard and customised load cells. In particular, these new curing ovens will enable LCM Systems to enhance the development, manufacture and supply of its high capacity load cells. The new curing ovens have four times the capacity of the existing ovens, enabling large sized load cells and load pins to be completely manufactured in house, leading to faster delivery times and reduced costs.

LCM Systems is well known for its CPA series of compression load cells that are available with a rated load range to 1000+ tonnes. These load cells have a wide range of applications from general weighing or heavy lifting to complex centre of gravity solutions. Due to the wide range of applications in which these load cells are used, LCM Systems can supply many special options including a domed top, with or without a loading cap, integral carrying handles, mounting bases, integral connectors and internal analogue/digital signal amplifiers.

As well as the standard CPA range, LCM Systems’ design engineers have a wealth of experience in designing customised high capacity load cells for specific applications. Load cells with capacities of up to 1500 tonnes have been developed, manufactured and delivered on time and within budget.
