New metal detector strikes balance between absolute detection and elimination of false signals
Eriez Europe, UK manufacturer based in Caerphilly, South Wales, introduces the new Xtreme® Metal Detector, which surpasses previous units and competitive models alike with enhanced features, improved sensitivity and intuitive operation. The ultra-sleek Xtreme Metal Detector combines simplicity and sophistication with its easy-to-navigate control with extra-large colour interface.
“Our Xtreme Metal Detector was designed to strike a perfect balance between absolute detection of all metal and elimination of false signals that slow down production and we are delighted to offer it now to the European markets.” explains Paul Hale, Sales Manager—Metal Detection. “The Xtreme was designed to detect 0.2mm metal spheres for a superior protection against contaminants while maintaining plant productivity.”
Made for industry applications including chemical, food processing, packaging, textiles, pharmaceuticals, plastics and rubber, the Xtreme Metal Detector has a completely re-designed and user-friendly interface. Highlights include full QWERTY keyboard, robust auto set-up, dedicated reject log and vivid display.
The Xtreme Metal Detector offers greater sensitivity with its multiple frequency range and vibration immunity. An integrated beacon and configurable inputs and outputs enable easy installation. The Xtreme also feature a large control opening allowing for easy access for wiring and trouble-free maintenance.
Multiple Xtreme Metal Detectors can be remotely monitored and controlled from a single PC. This enables its users to monitor, analyse and update each system, as if the operator was standing at each machine.
