The stainless dome encloses a new design of pneumatic valve actuator, which has only one piston and one laterally moving seal, The actuator also benefits from a robust construction and having a stainless steel output shaft.
Manufactured in the U.K the Forac units were originally designed for the food and pharmaceutical industry using FDA approved materials enclosing solenoids with switches sealed to IP 66 having ATEX II Group 2 Approval.

However analysis shows sales growth over a much wider market giving protection to the various ancillaries in all weathers.
With the standard ISO 5211 mounting centres the studs below the domes fit directly to all standard quarter turn valves including ball /butterfly and V notched control valves.
By assembling the ancillaries into the one enclosure Forac has produced a range of complex control units in a neat corrosion resistant package.
