Designed for use in the food and beverage processing sector, the new range of Norgren Pneufit S stainless steel push-in pneumatic fittings is now available from Thorite, the UK”s biggest compressed air products and process systems distributor.

The fittings are precision engineered from corrosion resistant, non-toxic and non-absorbent materials to avoid any possibility of contamination to end products in food processing. Installation is simplicity itself, as the new stainless steel fittings feature quick and easy connection without the need for tools and offer fast connections to nylon, polyurethane and PTFE tubing.

The compact dimensions allow easy fitting in confined spaces and an internal hexagon allen key ensures a completely secure assembly. All elbows and tees include a swivel function, providing perfect orientation for tube routing.

The pressure rating is 750mm Hg to 15 bar, enabling Pneufit S fittings to be used for both vacuum and pressure system applications and an ambient temperature operating range of -15° C to + 225° C easily copes with hot food production.
