PIX hydraulic hose & end-fittings have been awarded the prestigious DNV (Det Norske Veritas) MED (Marine Equipment Directive) Type Approval. This recognition is in addition to the DNV certification that was previously conferred upon the company in 2008.
The MED Type Approval is an unbiased third-party certification attesting to a product’s adherence to specific standards or specifications, and verification of an appropriate production quality system. This approval is strongly recommended for products used in high performance industries, in particular, marine, mining and offshore, endorsing their quality and safety.
