TANK VENT BREATHERS PROTECT MOISTURE SENSITIVE PRODUCTS
Brownell has extended its range of tank vent breathers and adsorbers to prevent the contamination of valuable products from the harmful effects of moisture.
Installation of these breathers has been made quick and simple, with a direct connection to an existing breather or vent pipe. This configuration ensures the water vapour entering the tank is adsorbed before contaminating the stored products.
A removable adsorbent container allows the unit’s desiccant material to be changed without breaking the breather pipe connection. Furthermore, a distinctive change in the desiccant’s colour, signals when it is saturated and needs to be replaced or reactivated.

Stored products characteristics can be adversely changed by an increase in moisture content. These effects can include: reduced viscosity, lower electrical insulation, chemical stability and concentration.
