FABA® bellow-sealed valves from ARI – there’s one for every application
The new generation FABA® bellow-sealed valves from ARI-Armaturen UK offer 3 versions with more than 17,000 variants, all guaranteeing even better performance, 100% tight shut-off and extended service life in a wide range of process applications.
The exceptionally tight shut-off is achieved by a marginal seat arrangement which features some innovative design characteristics: The slight angle variation between seat and plug results in a very narrow sealing area which concentrates the force of the spindle over a small area, resulting in very high sealing pressure. The fine thread on the spindle increases this force even further and the difference in angles and the high pressure means that any dirt that adheres to the seat is dislodged.
The FABA®-Plus is designed for all standard applications and features a reinforced bellows welded to the stem rather than to the plug. A new bonnet design makes it lighter and more resistant to water hammer and options include a spring and loose regulating plug which allows it to be used as a combined check/stop valve.
The FABA®-Supra-I is designed for more arduous industrial applications and the FABA®-Supra-C is specifically designed for the chemical industry. Both feature reinforced bellows and a 2-bolt emergency gland design together with a rugged plug/stem guide for improved plug stability and greater toleration of high differential pressures.
UK Sales Director, Nick Davies, said: “We know that extreme valve longevity combined with guaranteed 100% tight shut-off will significantly increase process efficiency as well as leading to lower maintenance, reduced operational costs and improved environmental protection. High specification materials have been used throughout the range and all our valves undergo rigid quality controls. Quality has always been an important feature of all our products and the FABA range adds further strength to ARI’s reputation for high quality German engineering at the forefront of valve manufacturing technology.”
