Absolute Air & Gas to offer Nano dryers across its range
Compressed air and gas specialist Absolute Air & Gas is now offering the Nano ultra-high purity desiccant air dryers from nano-porous solutions (n-psl) as an option on all its air compressors, including the Ekom DK and DUO ranges and the company’s own Silver-Line and Blue-Line range of silent, oil-less and oil-lubricated compressors.
As one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of industrial compressed air treatment products, n-psl’s Nano dryers feature patented filter/desiccant cartridges to ensure they meet the highest standards of purity (in accordance with ISO8573:1 – 2001, Class 2 dirt and water). By integrating water separation and inlet/outlet filtration into a single cartridge, the highly-efficient Nano dryers eliminate the need for up to three external filters and drains, which helps to reduce pressure drop through the dryer by 60% when compared to conventional desiccant dryers.
To improve reliability and eliminate the risk associated with float-drain malfunction, Nano dryers feature a ‘quiet-zone’ chamber from which collected condensate is vented during frequent discharge cycles. Purge screws located after fine-dust filtration also help to eliminate the possibility of contamination and performance loss.
The n-psl Nano range is available with inlet flow rates from 5.1 to 40.8 Nm3/hr (3 to 24 scfm); a maximum working pressure of 16 barg (232 psig); and, thanks to a 50/60Hz dual-frequency power supply, are also suitable for worldwide applications.
