Endress+Hauser’s new ISEmax analyser is the perfect choice for effective process control of wastewater treatment. Based on the increasingly popular ion-selective technology, this compact system provides continuous, fast-response ammonium analysis for tighter control in the biological treatment phase, e.g. aeration lanes.
Simple yet reliable
With high repeatability and a fit-for-purpose accuracy of ±5%, ISEmax represents the economical alternative to more expensive colourimetric analysis systems. Not only is ISEmax cheaper to purchase initially, it is also significantly more economical to run, achieving major operational savings over time! Better still, with its direct continuous measurement, ISEmax avoids costs associated with excess aeration.
Consistent operation
Unlike colourimetric systems, ISEmax is simple to install – with no sample preparation required, the sensor is directly dipped in the medium using the pre-assembled immersion system. It’s the same with maintenance – just take the sensor out of the process, clean it, apply the calibration solutions and away you go! For added operational longevity, the sensor features easily-replaceable and robust membrane caps – ready configured, simply fill with electrolyte and screw them in. And, with the integrated compressed air cleaning system to prevent fouling and contamination, ISEmax offers the maximum in trouble-free operation!
More than just an ammonium analyser
For accurate and reliable assessment of the aeration lane nitrification/denitrification process,
ISEmax also has the added benefit of independent nitrate concentration measurement. This handy feature facilitates improved process control so that all-important cost savings are achieved.
