Lightweight air and gear motors

The Gast Group’s compact, lightweight air and gear motors are known industry-wide for their rugged construction and reliability and are used for a variety of industrial and manufacturing applications including mixing equipment; food and pharmaceutical packaging; pump and conveyor drives; and hoists and winches.

Non-lubricated air motors are available in four basic models from 0.13 to 1.86 kW with motor speeds to 4,000 RPM. Oil-lubricated versions are available in seven basic models from 0.33 to 7.1 kW with motor speeds variable from 300 to 10,000 RPM.

All are available with ATEX (T4) approval and their non-electrical operation means they are classed as intrinsically-safe in hazardous environments, which reduces the possibility of explosion from the ignition of flammable gases.

Air-powered gear motors are available in right-angle and in-line models, offer a maximum torque range of 8 to 587 Nm and gear ratios from 10:1 to 60:1 single reduction gear reducers.
