LDO sc – The next generation of oxygen measurement

Listen to this article

-Optimisation in a probe

•             lower your DO setpoints with drift free operation
•             Reduce aeration costs
•             Calibration free
•             Reduce maintenance time to 2 minutes per month

The LDO probe has revolutionised O2 measurement and replaced galvanic sensors within a very short period of time. With the new LDO sc, HACH LANGE is now bringing the second generation  onto the market. Thanks to unique technology , it provides accuracy and more cost effective measurements.

The new 3D sensor calibration and the optimised temperature sensor make oxygen measurement even more accurate. This increase in reliability and accuracy helps plant operators to achieve stable effluent values and at the same time significantly reduce energy consumption during aeration.

The new LDO sc also means minimal maintenance of the optical sensor, as time-consuming electrolyte and membrane changes have been dispensed with along with regular calibration.

Immersion or flow probe with optical luminescence measurement method for the determination of dissolved oxygen. Calibration-free and drift-free.
Measuring range: 0–20 mg/L O2 (dissolved), 0–50 C.

The 3 year warranty on the probe demonstrates the reliability of the new LDO sc. Its qualities also benefit unmanned wastewater treatment plants: The telemetry functions of the new LDO sc enable especially simple and reliable remote diagnostics and parameterisation.
