Expanded capabilities of Metrix SETPOINT machinery condition monitoring and protection system are available from Ixthus

The recently announced expanded capabilities of the Metrix SETPOINT™ machinery protection system are now available in the UK from Ixthus Instrumentation. Metrix, the Houston – Texas based  provider of engineered products and analytical instruments, has introduced a series of enhancements that now allow its API  670 compliant SETPOINT system the ability to provide condition monitoring for full TSI (Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation) for large steam turbine-generator sets, reciprocating compressors and aeroderivative monitoring for gas turbines.

The SETPOINT system features up to 56 channels of vibration monitoring or 84 channels of temperature and process variable monitoring in any mix, with  4-, 8-, and 16-slot rack sizes providing maximum flexibility with options for panel, 19” EIA, and bulkhead mounting.  Each module is front loaded and may be wired from the front or rear for straightforward commissioning. An optional touchscreen display offers real-time visibility of every channel and parameter status in the rack, on a single screen.
