Remote monitoring for cooling and chiller system operations

Whilst it’s becoming increasingly common to control elements such as lighting or the thermostat in your home remotely, using an app on your smartphone or tablet, it’s trickier to do the same with complex industrial processes. Now, ICS Cool Energy has launched Remote X, a cost-effective, dedicated software programme which enables modern businesses to keep on top of their cooling processes and chiller system operations in a similar way.

Due to its customisable nature, it produces stats and audit trails of alarms, temperatures, and a wealth of other chiller activity. As an example, if changes have been made to cooling equipment in the last 12 months to try and improve efficiency, the closer monitoring and reporting of the systems will highlight the differences, showing such efforts in a tangible way to assess whether they have been beneficial or not.
