ALRAD is pleased to announce it has launched a new Photonics Division to compliment its well established Electronics and Imaging Divisions.

Ian Alderton, Sales Director at Alrad states “These are exciting times at Alrad and with many more new products available, we feel the time is right to restructure the company’s divisions and to clearly give the Photonics products their own identity”

The new division, headed by Sales Manager Tony Wright, distributes a range of Photonics products which includes:

Diode laser modules, Laser components, Laser protection products, Optical filters, Diffraction gratings, Photodiodes & IR detectors – representing leading companies in the field such as Agiltron, Altechna, Andon, Centronic, Coherent, Dexter, Eldim, IXYS, NoIR, Optometrics and Z-Laser .

Tony commented ” The ALRAD name is a well established and respected name in the Machine Vision world and we aim for ALRAD PHOTONICS to quickly become one of the foremost distributors of Photonics products in the UK & Eire. Our customers are our business and we hope the new division will better identify to them that Photonics is now one of our core businesses”.
