Claire Holt is Business and Partnerships Manager at Hosokawa Micron Ltd, responsible for innovation, digital strategy, development and data-driven manufacturing. She has wide-ranging career experience within the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics and chemical sectors, from academia and related spin-offs, through to start-ups, SMEs and global blue-chip companies. Her international expertise – while working for companies such as British Alcan, Fisons Pharmaceuticals, Ciba-Geigy, Bush Boake Allen, Zeneca, Avecia, Fujifilm Imaging Colorants, and Oxford Advanced Surfaces – encompasses process design, commissioning, production, operations, supply, capital expenditure, commercial, business strategies and multi-functional general management, as well as new product, technology and business development, planning and evaluation. Claire has a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Engineering, is a chartered engineer and member of the Institute of Chemical Engineers.
