King’s Award Highlights ERG’s Growth Across the UK and Asia

Listen to this article

ERG, a leading supplier of odour control systems, industrial gas cleaning systems and thermal process technologies, has been awarded the prestigious King's Award for Enterprise, one of the highest honours available to UK businesses.

The award recognises ERG's outstanding achievements in international trade, particularly its success in securing major projects across the Middle East. The recognition comes at a significant point in the company's development as it continues to expand its presence in global markets and strengthen its position as a specialist provider of advanced environmental and process engineering solutions.

The accolade also follows several important milestones for the business. Most notably, ERG has expanded into India through the establishment of ERG Neev, creating new opportunities to support industrial customers across one of the world's fastest-growing manufacturing economies.

Alongside this expansion, the company has continued to strengthen its footprint across Asia while building on its established reputation within the UK process industries sector.

During the past 12 months, ERG has also advanced its position as a leading European supplier of plastic-lined pressurised reactor systems and plastic-lined scrubbing systems.

These specialist technologies are widely used across sectors including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, industrial manufacturing and environmental treatment applications, where corrosion resistance and long-term operational reliability are critical requirements.

Commenting on the award, James Scott-Bowden, Chairman and Business Development Director at ERG, said:

“This prestigious award is very timely as we continue to move forward, building on our strong position in the UK, and expanding our market presence in the Middle East and Asia.

“Such an important accolade demonstrates that we are achieving exceptional levels of product design and manufacture, with excellent levels of service for our valued customers.”

The King's Award for Enterprise is widely recognised as a benchmark of excellence for British businesses and provides further validation of ERG's commitment to innovation, engineering expertise and international growth.

James Scott-Bowden added:

“The increased credibility that this gold standard award gives ERG, is testament to our hard-working team who enable us to compete and thrive on the world stage. I want to thank them for their unwavering commitment as we all share this award and look forward to the increased momentum it gives us for the future.”

Previously known as the Queen's Award for Enterprise, the King's Awards for Enterprise are among the most prestigious business awards in the UK. First instituted by Royal Warrant in 1965, the awards celebrate outstanding achievement in areas including international trade, innovation, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility.

As demand continues to increase across the UK, Middle East and Asia, the company is well positioned to support customers seeking high-performance environmental and process engineering solutions for complex industrial applications.
