VAPORMATT DEVELOPS WET BLASTING EQUIPMENT RANGE
Wet blasting specialists, Vapormatt is announcing the development of its automatic system range – enhancing the benefits its technology brings to the manufacturing and processing environment.
The ‘Jaguar 2’ is the latest in a line of automatic wet blasting stations and will be of particular note to the aluminium extrusion sector as well as the broader machining industry. The design features a 950 mm x 950 mm load table and process nozzles that are directed at both the upper and lower surfaces of the component – allowing total wet blast coverage to be achieved without the physical need to turn parts. With a load capacity of up to 36” diameter – or half a tonne in weight – this is an important factor that users will immediately appreciate.
“The Jaguar machine is a well-established unit in our range and this latest development, which offers a larger capacity capability, is an important step forward,” comments Vapormatt’s Sales Director, Mick Teague.
“From our smaller manual machines – such as the 25 kg capacity Vapormate unit to the Leopard, which can accommodate load capacities of up to 5000 kgs – to our extensive range of automatic machines, including the Jaguar 2, all units bring the key benefits of wet blasting to the fore.”
Mick Teague points out that, as a result, users can enjoy high quality component cleaning as well as meeting other operational needs such as de-burring, de-rusting and satin polishing. In all cases, the combination of air pressure and media selection produces a highly controlled finish on the component.
“We believe the Jaguar 2 is an important enhancement of a key design in our range and, with the benefits of the new loading capacity and dual-face nozzle arrangement, its advantages will be immediately acknowledged by our customers in the component cleaning and processing field,” he concludes.
