Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC), a leading global manufacturer of dust and fume extraction equipment, today celebrated the grand opening of its new 40,000 sq. ft. (3,716 sq. meter) facility in the United Kingdom to serve industrial customers throughout the UK and Europe.
Camfil APC worked closely with the Rochdale Development Agency to find the optimal site for the plant, which is located in the Birch Business Park in Heywood, Greater Manchester, UK. The facility has been operational since April, with a current staff of 40 employees. When fully staffed, it will employ more than 100 people in engineering, manufacturing and support positions. The plant includes a four-bay welding area, fabrication area, powder paint line, assembly area and storage space.
