Güntner Group launches dedicated Güntner Data Center Solutions division

Listen to this article

Güntner Group, a global leader in heat exchange technology, has announced the launch of its dedicated Güntner Data Center Solutions division, strengthening its position in the rapidly expanding data centre cooling market.

The newly formed division combines the expertise, technologies and specialist teams of Güntner and JAEGGI to create a unified customer experience focused specifically on data centre cooling solutions.

The move brings together more than 30 years of proven thermal engineering expertise to support operators of hyperscale, cloud and high-performance computing facilities worldwide.

Güntner Data Center Solutions will integrate an extensive portfolio of cooling technologies including dry coolers, adiabatic cooling systems and hybrid cooling solutions designed specifically for modern data centres. The division will be led by Yan Evans, who takes on the role of Managing Director.

The launch reflects the growing demand for energy-efficient and sustainable cooling technologies as data centre operators continue to expand infrastructure capacity to support artificial intelligence, cloud computing and digital services.

Increasing pressure around operational efficiency, water consumption and long-term sustainability targets is also driving demand for advanced thermal management systems across the sector.

Trusted by hyperscalers for high-performance cooling applications, Güntner and JAEGGI technologies are already installed in data centres throughout Europe, North America, South America and Asia.

Across the globe, more than 1,600 Güntner and JAEGGI cooling units are currently operating within data centre environments, delivering more than 4.5 gigawatts of cooling capacity backed by 35 years of industry experience.

Industry forecasts suggest the global data centre market could double in value to between $600 billion and $700 billion by 2030, fuelled by accelerating investment in digital infrastructure and high-performance computing.

Against this backdrop, Güntner Data Center Solutions aims to provide customers with tailored cooling systems designed around individual infrastructure requirements, operating environments and project specifications.

The company says customers will benefit from complete end-to-end project management and ongoing service support, helping operators optimise cooling performance, improve sustainability and maintain reliability in mission-critical facilities.

We’ve launched this dedicated division to better support one of the world’s fastest growing and most critical infrastructure sectors, a sector where we already have a strong and established presence,” says Yan Evans, Managing Director of Güntner Data Center Solutions.

As data center operators face increasingly complex demands around performance, efficiency and sustainability, they need more than a standardised approach to cooling. They need a partner that can support them from initial design through to delivery and beyond. We work closely with consultants and operators to define the right solution at the outset, and we have the project management, manufacturing capacity and technical teams to deliver it successfully anywhere in the world.”

He adds: “By building on the trust we’ve already earned with leading hyperscalers around the world, we can act as a true strategic partner. We’re excited about the next stage of the growth of the business and the opportunities in this growing sector.

Güntner Data Center Solutions will also be attending the upcoming Datacloud Congress taking place in Cannes from 2-4 June, where the company will be exhibiting at Stand 11.
