Bonx Raises $8.6 Million to Accelerate AI ERP Deployment to European Manufacturers

Listen to this article

Bonx is empowering European mid-market manufacturers to drive performance to the fullest through next-generation ERP software designed for the realities of modern production.

The manufacturing backbone of Europe is facing mounting pressure. Mid-sized factories, the classic stalwarts of the continent's economy, are being pulled in two different directions: intensifying global competition and supply chain complexity on the one hand, and the urgent need to update on the other – all at a time of dwindling resources and outdated systems.

French tech firm Bonx, founded by Alexandre Barroux and Rémi Beges in 2022 in OSS Ventures, is tackling this problem head-on through its AI-based, state-of-the-art ERP platform. Tailored specifically for manufacturers, Bonx enables operation flexibility through no-code setup, artificial intelligence, and rapid deployment – delivering results in weeks not years.

This morning, Bonx said it has secured $8.6 million (£6.8 million) in seed funding, with 9900 Capital as the lead investor, while Kima Ventures, Purple, OSS Ventures, and Dynamo Ventures also joined in.

Bonx's platform is already being adopted by more and more French, Italian and Spanish producers, including suppliers to Décathlon and innovative brands like French Bloom. Integrating into existing environments, Bonx provides visibility and control of production, logistics, procurement and quality without impacting vital finance or CRM systems.

Our mission remains clear: empower manufacturers to simplify and take control of their operations through technology that adapts to their precise needs,” said Alexandre Barroux, CEO of Bonx. This funding propels us into our next phase – becoming Europe’s definitive ERP leader for mid-sized manufacturers, expanding our successful model from France into new key markets, while scaling in Italy and Spain.

Unlike traditional ERP systems requiring lengthy and costly installations, Bonx can be rolled out in as little as three to ten weeks. Already, customers are achieving tangible benefits in traceability, procurement streams and inventory synchronization. Its simple, modular interface provides the ease of use that makes it accessible across the factory floor, empowering operators and supply chain personnel rather than just IT departments.

Across Europe – France, Germany, Italy and Spain especially – manufacturers are grappling with rising operational complexity. From fragmented supplier bases and shifting regulations to lofty sustainability goals, the pressure to digitalize is mounting. But many companies are still stuck on antiquated ERP systems that are rigid, difficult to change and not tailored to current requirements.

Bonx fills this gap with a flexible, agile solution that enhances but doesn't replace other systems. It's especially priceless to industrial teams who still rely on spreadsheets or are committed to inflexible software.

By focusing exclusively on manufacturing and supply-chain operations, we’ve built Bonx to integrate effortlessly with existing tools, particularly general ledgers and CRM solutions that our customers already rely on and love,” said Rémi Beges, CTO of Bonx. “Manufacturers don’t have to replace the systems they’re accustomed to; Bonx complements and enhances their stack and acts as their operational backbone.”

The company's vision aligns with broader digital transformation currents reshaping the factory floor – not just with robotics and automation, but with smart software infrastructure that understands how things really work.

Investor interest keeps pace.

Bonx is redefining the ERP landscape by combining extraordinary implementation speeds with genuinely impactful AI-driven capabilities, driving enormous efficiencies within an industry plagued by legacy software,” commented Juliette Sylvain, Principal at 9900 Capital. “We are excited to support Bonx as it sets a new industry standard and scales across Europe.”

With its new investment, Bonx will expand its team, continue to build its products, and focus on expansion in Italy and Spain – two of the most powerful manufacturing economies in Europe. The demand for intelligent, easy-to-use ERP systems that augment current processes is clear. In the years to come, Bonx aims to be the digital backbone of European industrial production, empowering manufacturers to be smarter, faster and more nimble in an increasingly complex market.
