Güntner Group appoints Yan Evans to lead data centre operations

Güntner Group, a global leader in heat exchange technology, has appointed Yan Evans as Managing Director, Global Data Center Business, strengthening its leadership in one of the fastest growing and most critical infrastructure sectors.

A Chartered Engineer, Yan joins Güntner Group from FläktGroup, one of Europe’s largest HVAC companies. He built and led FläktGroup’s global data centre operations from 2018 to 2025, delivering exceptional business growth across EMEA, AMER and APAC regions, with a strong focus on scalable cooling technologies and operational excellence.

In his new role, Yan will lead data centre activities across the Güntner Group portfolio, working across Güntner and JAEGGI brands, which are trusted by hyperscalers worldwide for high performance cooling solutions. The role brings together data centre expertise across the Group’s brands under a unified leadership structure, ensuring a more integrated and agile approach to meeting customer needs.

Working closely with regional leadership, he will support the continued expansion of the business in key global markets and deepen partnerships with data centre operators and hyperscalers globally, as demand for digital infrastructure, cloud computing and AI driven applications continues to accelerate. The appointment reflects the increasing importance of energy efficient cooling solutions in supporting sustainable data centre growth.
