Xylem opens Grantham rental depot to support water and industrial sectors

Xylem UK has opened a new rental depot in Grantham, Lincolnshire, to strengthen support for water companies and industrial customers across the east of England.

The facility will provide access to pumping, water treatment and disinfection solutions, primarily serving the region supplied by Anglian Water.

Xylem’s rental division welcomed customers and partners to the depot for an open day in September 2026, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the equipment and technologies available from the new facility.

The rental fleet includes:

Emergency and bypass pumping systems
Containerised disinfection systems for water treatment
Dissolved air flotation (DAF) technologies
Solutions for complex treatment requirements and challenging operating conditions

Xylem’s rental engineers were also available to demonstrate the facility’s technical capabilities and discuss how its equipment can support customer applications.

Guy Fitzpatrick, director of water solutions and services at Xylem UK&I, said: “Thank you to everyone who joined us at our new Grantham depot, which is strengthening the support we provide our water sector and industrial customers in the east of England.”

“The open day showcased the rental equipment, technology and expertise available from the depot, providing quick access to pumping, treatment and disinfection solutions when they are needed most.”

Operating through a network of strategically located depots across the UK and Ireland, Xylem’s rental division supplies Flygt electric submersible pumps, Godwin prime-assisted diesel pumps, and Wedeco and Sanitaire treatment systems.

These technologies are manufactured by Xylem.
