New DTM process valve from TOMOE delivers accurate control and low noise
TOMOE Valve has introduced a new rotary control butterfly valve, featuring the latest anti-cavitation technology pioneered by TOMOE engineers, that provides accurate control and low noise even at high velocities.
Compared to conventional valves, the DTM has a 20dB reduction in noise-eliminating cavitation problems and associated damage to piping and equipment. Also, unlike other butterfly valves, it provides a wide control range from closed to fully open with its wide rangeability 100:1. It can handle extremely high differential pressure with control in the opening range of 0 – 30% and differential pressures greater than 2MPa making it the ideal choice for high pressure, high temperature, low flow and highly corrosive applications.
The DTM is also available with an optional RPTFE seat which provides zero leakage to ISO 5208 Rate A. Actuation is managed by a new high performance diaphragm pneumatic actuator.
