RITTAL ENCLOSURE COOLING FOR CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENTS
Rittal now offer specially treated cooling units for use within corrosive environments. With the enclosures external surfaces and internal components coated to protect them against hostile air bound substances, the units offer the ideal cooling remedy for industries such as food and beverage, water, marine, oil, gas and chemical.
Comprehensive treatment is available on standard, stainless steel as well as NEMA 4X units. All external sheet metal is coated according to RIQSWIN.013 (standard coating for chemical environmental conditions).
Internal components in contact with contaminated air are completely coated in 2K-PUR-coating. Refrigerant pipe surfaces and soldering joints are coated in sequence and evaporator and condenser coils including bent tubes, are dip coated in 2K-PUR.
The coating performs up to 100C and adheres well on the surfaces of copper, steel, aluminium, zinc and chromate as well as being resistant to yellowing and weathering.
Treatment also provides protection against diesel, oils, emulsions, ammonia vapours, hydrogen sulphide, sulphuric acid vapours, dilutions pH 10 – ph4 at room temperature, and even room temperate ethanol, isobutene and benzene for 5 minutes.
Chemical versions are available on request and retain all the benefits of Rittals
TopTherm cooling units including fault diagnosis, PLC/network connection, master-slave system, air duct system, and aluminium filters as an accessory.
