Control technology comprises a multitude of devices that simplify and control lots of different industrial processes. In industry and research as well as many other areas, temperature controllers are required.

These controllers enable the user to compare an actual value to a target value and to change the value until the desired value has been reached. Wherever temperatures must be regulated in rooms and systems, temperature controllers are used.

PCE Instruments offers the PCE-RE92 temperature controller that can control and regulate two objects at the same time. The professional two-channel controller has been optimised for industrial applications and can control two objects independently.

In a two-chambered kiln, for example, two physical parameters could be controlled at the same time. The PCE-RE92 has some universal measuring inputs not only for monitoring the temperature but also for controlling other physical parameters such as pressure and humidity.

The measurement and control ranges allow for versatile applications. As control behaviour, users can select PID, Smart PID, three-point control or three-point step control. Smart PID enables and determines the ideal PID parameters. The PCE-RE92 has an internal programme control and can do sum and differential control.

When the limit value is fallen below or exceeded, there will be an audible alarm and the alarm signal will be recorded. The PCE-RE92 has an RS485 data interface and can be equipped with an optional Ethernet interface.

Both can be used for remote maintenance. The temperature can be controlled easily via the keypad. A bright and divided LCD makes it possible to clearly view the readings of both channels.
